Extra scripts
Below is a list of scripts which you can use to alter the way you interact with Facebook. These scripts will run on Mozilla Firefox browser only.
Firstly, download Greasemonkey. (taken from wikipedia) Greasemonkey is a Mozilla Firefox add-on that allows users to install scripts that make on-the-fly changes to HTML web page content on the DOMContentLoaded event, which happens immediately after it is loaded in the browser (also known as augmented browsing). As Greasemonkey scripts are persistent, the changes made to the web pages are executed every time the page is opened, making them effectively permanent for the user running the script. Greasemonkey can be used for adding new functions to web pages (for example, embedding price comparison in Amazon.com web pages), fixing rendering bugs, combining data from multiple webpages, and numerous other purposes.
After you have installed Greasemonkey, make sure its running by going to ‘Tools‘ in your Firefox browser >> and click ‘enabled‘ under the Greasemonkey menu.
You can apply any of the scripts below to it.
Auto poke:
Automatically poke back your friends whom have poked you

Ad-Removal:
This script will remove the ads from Facebook

Bad status remover
Remove “is attending,” “attended,” “became a fan,” “joined the group,” and “now friends” messages from Facebook’s live and news feeds.

Chat emotions
This script gives you a set of emoticons that you can click for a more convenient way to use emoticons in chat.

Profile drop-down menu
Adds a drop-down menu for the profile tab on the top bar, showing all tabs of your profile.
You have to go to your profile page if you are using the script for the first time. Currently, this is needed for the script to get info about the tabs you have in your profile page.

Secure Facebook
Forces Facebook to use secure login and connections all the time. That is always encrypted SSL (HTTPS) except for photos and videos. This is a good idea especially if you are on a shared computer or a network not controlled by yourself.

Facebook account creator
Ctrl+ E. Fills out Facebook registration with a random first/last name. A user supplied email, and random sex and birth date. Default password is ‘pa55word’ and can easily be edited in the script.
